William “Bill” Victor Cobb, Jr., 66 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2022, at the Ralph O Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A private family inurnment will be held at the Odessa Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Hope Masonic Lodge #476 in Odessa, MO. Bill was born on April 30, 1956, in Odessa, Missouri to William Victor Cobb, Sr. and Leona Mae (Barker) Cobb. He resided in Odessa with Leona and Dwayne McNeel until he graduated from Odessa High School. He worked many years for Allis-Chalmers and retired from Stock Grain, LLC as a truck driver. Bill attended the Odessa First Baptist Church. He was a longtime member of the Mt. Hope Masonic Lodge #476. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Bill enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting, camping, golfing, and watching Chiefs football.
Bill is survived by six children, Charlotte Pardue (Clifton) of Pleasant Hill, MO, Jolene Hennon (Brad) of Odessa, MO, Billy Cobb, III (Heather) of Waynesville, MO, Weston Cobb (Erica) Odessa, MO, Collin Cobb of Odessa, MO, and Jackson Cobb of Odessa, MO; seven grandchildren, Canton Pardue, Camden Pardue, Colton Dukes, Madison Dukes, Isabella Hennon, Kendall Cobb, and Maddux Cobb; two sisters, Tracy Peter (Curt) and Dallas Hall (Brandon), both of Odessa, MO; mother-in-law, Hattie Ussery of Oak Grove, MO; best friend, John Jackson of Excelsior Springs, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a nephew, Evan Hedicke.
