William Zeb “Will” Cobb, 85, of Edenton, NC passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2026.
A native of Hertford County, NC, Will was the husband of 60 years to Barbara Turner Cobb and the son of Zeb Vance Cobb and Lillian Brown Cobb, both deceased.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; sisters, Dorothy Baker and Linda Connelly; brother, Robert Cobb; and his beloved dog, Holly.
In addition to his parents, Will was preceded in death by his sisters, Ernestine Leggett and Iris Pierce; and brothers, Leslie Cobb, Henry Cobb, Harvey Cobb, George Cobb, and Earl “Jay” Cobb.
Funeral services celebrating Will’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026 at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home Chapel, Edenton, NC with Pastor Russell Blanchard officiating. Interment will follow at Beaver Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday prior to the service in the chapel. Other times the family will greet friends at the residence.
