William Cornell

William (aka Whitey, Billy Bob, Big Daddy, Poppa Bear, Pops) all nicknames from the people who loved him the most passed away on April 5, 2022 at Wykoff Heights Hospital. He was truly a blessing to the people who loved him. His laughter, words of wisdom and guidance will never be forgotten. His family and friends will miss his stories and hilarious sense of humor. He would do the craziest things just to make you laugh. He made sure that he his family was always taken care of. He was the kind of person that made sure he was present in our lives by spending countless hours with us. Besides spending time with his family and friends, he loved being with his dogs, Pebbles & Bella. His hobbies included bowling and playing pool.
He was a fantastic father, a great husband, son, brother, godfather, uncle and friend. He is preceded in death by his mother Lillian; father William; sisters Catherine and Vivian; Nieces; Lori Ann and Loretta (Ret, Retta); wife Phyllis, and sons Anthony and Sandy.
He is survived by his daughters; Denise and Kimberly. Brother Charles; Grandchildren Brannon, Shanna, Justin, Joel, Brianna, Emily and Victoria; Nieces Crystal, Stephanie and Samantha; Great Nephews Joshua & Kamdon.
There are no words to express the hole in our hearts that we feel with his passing. We will be forever grateful that he was a part of our lives. He would want us to laugh, love and live every day to the fullest! LULT 4 Always, your family.
