William A. “Joe” Corthay, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 27th, 2025.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Janice; his daughter Cheryl Sisk (Butch); son Craig Corthay; and his cherished stepdaughters, Melissa Judson (Mark) and Cynthia Barclay. Joe's legacy continues through his grandchildren: Sarah Erby (Sam), Cheryce Mayo (Brandon), Chrystal Sisk, Kacee Gordillo (Carlos), Kyle Corthay, Kelli Corthay, Allison Timmons (Robert), Sarah Holz (Ryan), and William Judson. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Kailey Frank, Kaden Gordillo, Nora Johnson, Kamden Blalock, and Marlie Mayo, who brought him immense joy.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Pat Corthay; great grandchild, Charles White Jr.; stepdad W.K. Laster all of whom he held dear in his heart.
A man of the land, Joe found joy in mowing, cattle ranching, and farming. His love for these activities reflected his deep connection to nature and the life he nurtured on his ranch. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, as he leaves behind a rich legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to family.
