William M. Crafts

William M. Crafts, age 86, husband of the late Judith B. (Wood) Crafts, of Limerick, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 in the Pottstown Hospital, Pottstown, PA. Born on February 7, 1939 in Boston, MA, he was a son of the late Stanley and Ilva (Moss) Crafts.
Mr. Crafts was a graduate of Westwood High School in Westwood, MA. He furthered his education by attending Northeastern University in Boston. Mr. Crafts worked as an insurance underwriting manager. He began his career at The Hartford Insurance Company in Boston, before transitioning to Peerless Insurance Company in Keene, NH. He would go on to work for Ohio Casualty Insurance Company in Philadelphia, PA, where he would retire from.
Mr. Crafts was an avid car enthusiast, even moving cars for Enterprise Car Rental in his retirement. In his younger years, he loved spending time at the lake in Maine, where he enjoyed boating. Mr. Crafts was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Crafts is survived by three children, Constance "Connie" Crafts, wife of Mary O'Connor, Kimberly, wife of James Buhl, and Scott Crafts; two grandchildren, Sydney Buhl and Christopher Buhl; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Robison; and a nephew and niece, Jeff Davidson and Jennifer Riddell. He was preceded in death by one sister, Suzanne Crafts Davidson, wife of Randy Davison.
