William A. Crowley

William A. Crowley, 70, of Scranton for the past 3 years and formerly of Long Island, NY, died Sunday evening in Moses Taylor Hospital. His devoted wife of 33 years is Barbara Crowley. Born in Queens, NY on September 13, 1943, he was the son of the late John and Francis Crowley. Prior to his retirement, Bill worked in management for Fayva Shoe Store. He was a former member of the Holbrook Fire Department, Holbrook, NY. Surviving are a son, Bill and wife, Tiffany, Taylor; two daughters, Elizabeth Coleman, Aquebogue, NY; Laura Smith and husband, Michael, Patchoque, NY eight grandchildren, Michael Van Scott, Philip and Nicole Grippi, Gregory and Rebecca Coleman, Nevaeh, Karli and Jaice-lynn Crowley. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 am in Grace Reformed Episcopal Church, 105 Laurel Dr., Scranton, 18505. Friends may call Wednesday 1-3 and 7-9 at the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor.
