William Glenn Cunningham

William Glenn "Cowboy" Cunningham, 72 of Somerville, TX., passed away July 5, 2024. He passed after a tough rodeo ride with cancer, with his loving and supportive wife at his side.

A Celebration of Cowboy's life will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Strickland Funeral Home Caldwell. The burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville.

Glenn was preceded in death and embraced by his 2 sons, Rodney and Shawn Cunningham, his father, Billie Cunningham and a brother, Larry Cunningham.

Glenn is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Mary Cunningham, his daughter Brandie Vollentine and her husband Brandon, daughter-in-law April Cunningham, 5 grandkids that he loved to brag about: Nathan Cunningham and his wife Hailey, Kyle Cunningham, Travis Cunningham, Hayden Vollentine and Emory Vollentine. He is also survived by his mother, Henrietta Cunningham, sister Brenda Knesek and husband David, sister Janice Norman and husband Dick, and numerous nieces, nephews' other relatives and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Cunningham, Kyle Cunningham, Travis Cunningham, Hayden Vollentine, Emory Vollentine, David Ashley Knesek and Billie Ray Knesek.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Bruce Ihlenfeldt Jr., Tommy Ihlenfeldt, Chance Norman, Luke Norman, Billie Singer and John "Cajun" Miller
