WEST ALEXANDRIA — Bruce Edward Cunningham, 71, of West Alexandria, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Nov. 7, 1954 in Dayton, to the late Merle and Lula (Berry) Cunningham. He was a 1973 graduate of Twin Valley South High School. Bruce retired from the trackgang at AK Steel (ARMCO). He was a successful business owner of Affordable Tree Stump Removal, LLC, served as a Lanier Township Trustee for 16 years and a deacon of Oak Street Brethren Church. He enjoyed traveling with his family and shared countless adventures with his wife. He was skilled in woodworking, stained glass, and pottery. He was a faithful Christian, devoted husband, loving father, adoring grandfather and a friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Larry Cunningham and Robert Cunningham.
He is survived by his wife Pamela (Ullery) Cunningham of West Alexandria; daughters Erin (Jonathon) Ballard of Centerville OH and Emily (Clellan) Kane of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren; Brooklyn Ballard, Grant Kane, Owen Edward Kane, Brayden Ballard and Anna Kane; numerous nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon at Oak Street Brethren Church, 22 E. Oak St, West Alexandria. Pastor Bryon Gevedon will be officiating.
Please join us for a meal and time of fellowship immediately following the funeral.

Have known Bruce for many years,went to church with him and followed his business for many years . He was a great friend and he will be missed greatly, a lot of friends and a great Christian father and a husband to Pam ,our love and prayers for all left behind, because Bruce is celebrating with Jesus Christ.
