Jackie Elizabeth Clopper
age 87 of Eaton, OH passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Vancrest peacefully in her sleep.
Jackie was born on December 2, 1938 in Canebrake, West Virginia, to Daniel & Ada Honaker.
Preceded in death by her mother Ada Lou (Sims) Honaker & her father Daniel Honaker. Siblings Arthur Honaker, Wiley Honaker, Cecil Honaker, Howard Honaker, Edward Honaker, Carson Honaker, David Honaker, Gladys Holland, Mary Magdalene Honaker, Hazel Salmon, Thelma Bichel, Betty Reed, Jamie Bailey & Edith Whitt. Jackie is survived by her loving sons , Mark & Diana Clopper of Eaton , OH Micah & Linda Clopper Of Eaton, OH, her Grandchildren, Dan & Julie Clopper of Riverview, FL. David & Amy Clopper of West Alexandria, OH, Shane & Marian Osborn of Eaton, OH Matthew Clopper of Eaton, OH , and Jessica & Joseph Kiser of Troy, OH; Great grandchildren, Aiden Clopper of Riverview, FL & Chloe, Katie, Elliot Clopper of West Alexandria, OH
Jackie worked at Miller’s in Eaton, OH until they closed. Then she worked at Marsh until she retired. Jackie also worked a few other jobs, such as running her own business with her previous husband in her younger years and she worked at F & R Lazarus Company. Jackie was a sweet, loving and caring woman, who was devoted to the Lord and her family. Jackie took pride in being a mother, a grandmother and anything she did in life. Jackie had a love for the Lord that she enjoyed sharing with anyone she met. If you asked Jackie about any verse in the bible she could tell you off top her head, even in her later years of life. Jackie’s favorite books in the Bible were Ruth, Ezekiel & Micah. Jackie would always have her grandchildren do the Lord's Prayer before bed when they visited. Jackie in her younger years loved to cook, bake and her kitchen became known as “Grandma’s kitchen”. Her favorite flowers were Yellow Roses and she liked cardinals. She always enjoyed it when anyone would stop up and visit. She would always offer coffee, tea or Ovaltine. She would invite you to sit with her on her swing or in her kitchen. She will be deeply missed and loved by everyone who knew her. Her favorite scriptures are Matthew 6:9-13 KJV 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. John 3:16 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
A Funeral service will be held at grave side on Friday, March 13th at 11am at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center & Cemetery. All are welcome to join the family for the graveside service & meal afterwards at El Rancho Grande right by the funeral home.
