Helen Marie Clopper

Helen Marie (Hahnemann) Steele Clopper, 89, of Newtown, PA died on August 26, 2025 at Christ Home, Warminster, PA. Born in Philadelphia on January 16, 1936 and was a long-time resident of Newtown and a former resident of Philadelphia.

Helen and her late husband Bill Clopper had a beautiful marriage for over 30 years and enjoyed traveling and going on cruises together, Helen loved spending time in Cape May, NJ and other shore points. She had a lifetime relationship with her sorority sisters from Lincoln High School. Helen was a school bus driver for the Council Rock School District bus #9 for over 30 years. She enjoyed reading books, was a great baker and in later life, she would not be found without her puzzle books. Helen was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Helen in the wife of the late William (Bill) Clopper and she is the mother of Beth Anne Bello and her husband Jeff of Newtown, Willian J. Steele and his wife Kelly of St. Helena, SC and John W. Steele of New Hope, PA and Grammy to Ryan Bello, Breynn Bello, Ashley Steele, Riley Butler, Emily Steele, Abby Steele and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Barbara (Leo) Swanson.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Life Celebration on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 11 to 12 Noon and to her family directed Memorial Service at 12:00 PM.
