Anna Catino Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Decker-Givnish Funeral Home on Mar. 2, 2026.
Anna M. Catino, of Warminster, PA, previously of Silver Spring, MD and Mount Carmel, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was 89 years old. Born in Mount Carmel, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine Bianchini. Anna is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Alfred, and a brother, Michael Bianchini. She is survived by her children Catherine Latshaw (Bruce), Theresa Catino (Robert Sullivan), Michele Catino (Christopher Kilmon), Christopher Catino, her grandchildren Matthew and Olivia Latshaw and Ellary Catino, and several nieces and nephews.

After graduating high school, Anna worked at Union National Bank in Mount Carmel, PA. She married Alfred in 1964, after which they moved to Silver Spring, MD, where they raised their family. Anna was an active stay-at-home mother for many years, always staying involved with her children's school and after-school activities. Her homemade ravioli and desserts were legendary, especially her peach pie. There was never a store-bought pie or boxed cake mix in her house – everything was made from scratch.

As her children got older, she re-entered the workforce, working at what was then Chevy Chase Bank in Laurel, MD for many years. When she finally retired, she and Alfred moved to Warrington, PA to be closer to grandchildren. No matter where the family was, their house was always the center of holiday and family celebrations.

Anna devoted herself to her children and grandchildren, instilling in them an appreciation for study, hard work, and generosity. Throughout her life, she was spunky and confident, and had a strong proclivity for speaking her mind. It was that self-assured spirit that made her so cherished by the people she loved.

Anna courageously battled Parkinson's Disease for more than 20 years. Even as her physical limitations grew, she persevered with grace and dignity. Anna's children would like to acknowledge and extend their deepest appreciation to the staff at Ann's Choice Nursing Facility for their dedication and compassionate care over the past four years. The family is grateful for their kindness and guidance, especially over Anna's last days.

Relatives and friends are invited to Anna's viewing on March 6 from 10am-11am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA at 11am and interment at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Anna's memory.
