William Daniels Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory - Live Oak on Dec. 9, 2025.
William "Buddy" Eulice Daniels, of Branford, FL, passed away at the age of 75 on December the 5th,2025. He was born on March 28th, 1950, in Kinard, Florida. His parents were Sarah Helen and William Moses Daniels. William graduated from high school from Cumberland High in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and enlisted in the United States Army as a Special Forces Ranger Combat Engineer.

William was a diligent worker and provider for his family. In his early years, he collaborated with his brothers farming and driving a semi. Later in life, he was a diesel mechanic and was known for his talents.

William's favorite place to wash the grease off after a hard day's work, relax, and spend time with his family was at his river property in 3 Rivers on the Sante Fe River. He enjoyed fishing and swimming; weekends were filled with cookouts, fish fries, cold beer, lots of laughter, and a few tall tales around a fire. He also enjoyed growing his own garden and sharing his rewards with family; any excuse to gather and eat.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Susie (Howard) Daniels, and survived by his children, Jolene Rodgers and William Daniels. One grandchild, Joshua, son of Jolene, and one great-grandchild, Liam, son of Joshua. He was preceded in death by his brother Dudley and survived by his sister Helen, brother James, and half-brother Carl.

Williams' wishes were to be cremated and not to have a funeral service. His ashes will rest with his wife's ashes until their next anniversary, April 14th, 2026, and will be scattered together with a celebration of their life with family and friends on the river they both loved.
