William Dansler, 27, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at his home. He was born on September 17, 1998, in Chillicothe, OH. William was a graduate of Lancaster High School.

William enjoyed longboarding, anime, and video games. He had a big heart and was kind to everyone. He loved his friends and his family; he was known as “Big Bro” to many. William’s big smile lit up the room, and his laugh was infectious.

He is survived by his loving mother, Michele Dansler; godfather, Mike Lorick; bonus mom, Isabelle Lindsay; grandparents, Les and Cindy; siblings, Aaron Dansler, John Lindsay, Keyon Goodgame, Travis Hunt, and Austin Donaldson; and the Young Family, who were like a second family to William.

Caring Cremation® has taken place. A memorial service for William will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 405 N. Columbus Street, Lancaster, OH. Friends and family may visit until 1:00 pm until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to make a memorial contribution to Lifeline of Ohio in honor of William, as he was able to be a donor and save many lives.
