William Starnes Davidson III, age 30, of Rogersville, passed away on February 9, 2024.
Will was born to William and Debbie (Hamblen) Davidson on June 15th, 1993. He went to school at Volunteer High School. He was married to Autumn Leeman of Surgoinsville, TN. During highschool, he worked at Martins Greenhouse which is where he developed his love for flowers. After Highschool, he worked at the Hawkins County Co-Op for many years where he made lifetime friendships. He also worked at BAE, Cooper Standard, and AGC. Will was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of Hawkins County 4H and Future Farmers of America. To know Will, was to love him. He had a passion for farming, flowers, chickens, and the Tennessee Vols. He loved spending time with his family and children.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Starnes Davidson, Sr and Frank (Bud) Hamblen; grandmothers, Louise Gregory-Davidson and Mary Hagood-Hamblen; uncles, Johnny Hamblen and Michael Hamblen (Moogie); and his aunt, Alice Hamblen-Byrd.
He is survived by his wife, Autumn Leeman; children, Liam Davidson, (Lindsey Bellamy), Elowen and Orrin, Davidson (Tiffany Wilson); and stepson, Korbyn Douthat; sister, Katie Thacker; brother-in-law, Gavin Thacker; niece, Annalea Thacker; parents, William Davidson Jr. and Debbie Davidson; aunt, Susan Higley; cousin, Elyse D'Argenio; and uncle, Don Hamblen.
The family of Will would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Neil Faulkner and his team at the University of Tennessee Cancer Institute, Thompson Proton Center, The University of Tennessee Hospice nurses, The American Cancer Society, The Hawkins County Co-op, Lori Crawford, Brandon Tustin and Scarlett Crutchfield, Kenadey Dowell, Photography by Justise, Hubble Photography, KFM Photography, the amazing community of Hawkins County, and all of the local churches for their generous donations. A very special thanks to our cousin Bobby Taylor and family of Abingdon, VA who Will adored beyond measure. Thank you to Shon Flanary who lit the path for Will to be closer with God.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 at New Providence Presbyterian Church in Surgoinsville, TN. Funeral Services will be followed with Pastor Allen McMillian and Curtis Flanary officiating. Graveside services will be held at The Davidson Farm. This will be a small service with family and friends. Pallbearers will be Billy Sword, Brad Fields, Brandon Tustin, Harley Berry, Matthew Ball, Taylor Hagood. Honorary Pallbearers will be Shon Flanary, Bobby Couch, and Brian Julian.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the University of Tennessee Cancer Institute or donations can also be made to the family to assist with medical expenses/a savings for his children.
The family would like to express their prayers for those who are currently battling cancer and extend their condolences to families who have lost a loved one due to cancer.
