Anna Ruth Johnson

Anna (Bray) Johnson, age 69, of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, formerly of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Tennessee.

Anna was born and raised in DeKalb, Illinois, and was a proud graduate of DeKalb High School, Class of 1974. She was formerly employed by General Electric in DeKalb, where she dedicated many years of service.

Anna found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved playing card games, spending time at bingo, and visiting the casino. Above all, Anna had a deep love for her cats and a tender heart for all living creatures, a trait that defined her gentle and caring spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel P. Bray and Cleo Marlow Bray; her son, Justin Michael Kramer; and her special nieces, Kelli Jo Bray Hyde and Teresia Robinson Mullins.

Anna is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Bradley Johnson, of Bulls Gap, Tennessee; her children, Michael Kramer, Matthew Kramer, and Nicholas Johnson; her grandchildren, Evyn Kramer and Ty Kramer; and her siblings, Sammie Kay Robinson (Robert Robinson), Bobby Jo Bray (Jody Bray), Donna Swinson (Larry Swinson), and Debbie Summers (Tim Summers). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Anna will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of family, and her compassion for others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 pm Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home with Madison Armstrong officiating.
