Melvyn Long Obituary
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sharon Long; daughter, Kim West and husband, Steve of Bulls Gap; son, Dr. James "Chris" Long of Knoxville; special granddaughter and caregiver, Stephanie Seal; grandchildren, Christopher Seal and Jamie West; great-grandchildren, Aubriana Seal, Ethan Seal, Leland Blair, Cheyenne Beddingfield and Abram Lima; sister, Brenda Morgan and husband, Jim of Morvin, NC; several niece and nephews all of NC.
Visitation will be 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 23, 2026 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home, Rogersville. Graveside service will follow in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rip Noble officiating.
