On December 13, 2025, William "Bill" Hileary Davis went to sleep in death surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife, Carol H. Davis, of 55 years of marriage; his son, Eric L. Davis; sisters and brothers, Alice D. Holland, Andrew (Elaine) Robertson, Davis (Annette) Robertson, Robert (Mary Ann) Robertson, George (Pearl) Robertson, Thomas (Annette) Robertson, Alvin Robertson, Thelma Robertson, Donald Robertson; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
A visitation will be held from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, in the Bedford Funeral Home Chapel. Immediately following the visitation, there will be a Masonic Funeral Ritual and Military Honors held at Fairmont Cemetery in Bedford, VA. Friends are welcome to view from 2 to 5 p.m. today, December 18, 2025, at the funeral home. The family will not be present during the viewing on Thursday. Arrangements by Bedford Funeral Home.

To Carol, Eric & Family. I'm so sorry to hear of your lost. I worked with Bill and he was a great person to work with. Any time that I would Carol and Bill out and about we would always stop and we didn't have short conversations, we talked for a while. I will miss seeing Bill.
