Funeral services for William R. "Billy Bob" Davis, 76, of Roberta will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 11:00 am at Roberta Church. Burial will follow in Roberta City Cemetery. Billy Bob passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025. He was a member of Roberta Church.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was an only child, but he was far from ever being alone. He built a life surrounded by people who loved him dearly, because he gave his love so freely. Known for his big heart and willingness to lend a hand, he never hesitated to help someone again and again if that's what it took. To all who knew him, he was a good and honorable man.

He and his wife shared 55 beautiful years of marriage, a bond built on love, respect, and laughter. They adored each other deeply, setting an example of lasting devotion that will continue to inspire their children and grandchildren. Family was his pride and joy, and he treasured every moment spent with his wife, his children, their spouses, and especially his grandchildren, who brought so much joy and happiness into his life.

A hardworking man, he proudly operated his tire business, Davis Tire Sales right here in the county for over 40 years. Even when others would have retired, he refused to close the doors because he loved his community too much and knew how much it needed him. Customers weren't just customers to him; they were neighbors, friends, and extended family. His dedication made him a pillar in the community, and his absence will be felt far beyond his family.

Before opening his business, he also worked as a skilled IBEW electrician, carrying with him the values of honesty, hard work, and craftsmanship. Whether through his trade, his business, or his daily life, he lived with integrity and always put others before himself.

His life was one of devotion to his family, his work, his community, and to the people who were lucky enough to know him. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Cynthia G. Davis of Roberta; one son, Nick Davis (Donna); two daughters, Jennifer Phillips (Mike) and Stephanie Whiting (Todd); six grandchildren, Laney Blair Davis, Davis Whiting, Ayden Phillips, Maddux Whiting, Miles Whiting and Will Phillips.

Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a organization of choice.
