William Eugene Davis, 81, passed away on December 27, 2025, at his home in Kansas City, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family.

William was born on July 11, 1944, in Kansas City, Kansas, to William Davis and Allie Mae (Dorch) Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Leo Andre Dorch and Walter L. Davis; and his sisters, Lynn Dorch and Shirley Davis.

He attended Kansas City Public Schools and later continued his education at Penn Valley Community College in Kansas City, Missouri.

William began his career at Kansas City Public Works, where he dedicated over 20 years of service. He advanced to a managerial position and retired in 2003.

In his spare time, William enjoyed lawn work, planting flowers, and spending quality time with his family—especially his grandchildren. His faith was important to him, and he regularly attended Miracle Temple Deliverance Center at the Mary Williams-Neal Community Center.

William married Rosia (Starks) Davis on July 15, 2006, in Independence, Missouri. They shared 20 years of a loving and happy marriage.

William leaves behind to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Rosia Davis; his daughters: Rochelle Graham (Rodney), Censaniya Starks, and Anita Davis Cole; his son, JoRon Reese Sr.; his brother, Edward Dorch (Elaine); his sisters: Vanessa Dixon (James), Cynthia Dorch, and Angel Dorch-Love (James); his grandchildren: Kechelle "Booper", Marvin, Dorian, Jayden, JoRon Jr., Cainan, Erienne, Jovan, Julian, Elaina and Arich (Tyherah); his great-grandchildren: Saria, Olivia, Azariyah and Ivy; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
