William Desmul Obituary
Born in Omaha, Nebraska during the war, Bill spent his childhood in Ord, NE and Billings, MT, graduating from Central Catholic High in 1962.
He was a Billings police officer for 7 years, starting as a patrol officer and later promoted to detective. Later, as a journeyman electrician, he worked throughout the USA. Eventually, the family moved to Buckley, WA where he worked for the Boeing Company for 26 years, retiring in 2013.
Bill had a beautiful singing voice. He was a deep thinker and an avid reader with a love of learning combined with an unselfish desire to help any who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Naomi (nee Olofson), children Tracy (Todd) Oman, Trevor "Bill" (Laura) Desmul, grandchildren Jon Oman and Alyssa Oman, siblings David (Bernice) Desmul, Sr, Jennifer Desmul, Diane (Ron) Hunter, Mary Randall, Karen (Guy) Miller, Leonard (Jennifer) Desmul and many nieces and nephews, including special nephew David (Jennifer) Desmul, Jr who had a special place in Bill's heart.
Bill was preceded in death by his son, James; parents Leonard and Velda; siblings Gerald 'Jerry' Desmul, Kristine Desmul and nephew, Jerry Desmul
Funeral Services will be in Buckley, WA., Friday Feb 6th with a memorial in Billings later this Spring.
