William Downer Obituary
Downer, William Robert - Age 85, of Fenton, died October 28, 2025. Graveside service 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to the Linden Free Methodist Church.
William was born September 13, 1940, in Mundy Township the son of Edmund and Helen (Judson) Downer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He married Glenda Hord on November 25, 1961. He worked as a technician for many years for General Telephone (GTE) before retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Glenda; daughter Melanie; and son Rodney.
