William Edward Drummond Sr. Sr.

William Edward Drummond Sr., age 64, of Temple, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. He was born on June 15, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late, Olin Mathais Drummond and Willie Pearl Bartlett Hosch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Olvey Moody.

Mr. Drummond, commonly known as Eddie, or as Papa Willie to his beloved grandkids, was a man who found joy on two wheels, peace in the woods, and happiness with a fishing rod in hand. But more than anything, he loved being a grandfather. His greatest pride was his son, Scooter, and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, William Edward Drummond Jr. and his wife, April; grandchildren, Connor and Kaylee Drummond; siblings, Debbie and Juddy Morrow, Diane Evans, and Lee and Linda Olvey; special nieces and nephews, Aaron (Chasity) Davis, Braelyn Davis, Carson Cook, and Crystal Murphy. He also leaves behind several other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will host a time of remembrance and celebration to honor Mr. Drummond's life on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, at New Life Praise Center, 8111 Brown Bridge Rd, Covington GA, 30014.
