Alphonso Henry Henley

Alphonso Henley, age 64, of Covington, GA, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Eugene Henley, Sr. and Georgina Moody.

He leaves behind his four children, Fabian, Jasmine, Nicholas, and Anavey, and his four grandchildren: Mia, Micah, Ezra, and Liam. He is also survived by his brother, Eugene, and his sister, Linda, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Alphonso had a deep passion for writing and expressing his thoughts about the world. In 2025, he published The Henley Report: Mass Incarceration in America Due to Clinical Depression Brought on by Poor Social Conditions. Writing was something he truly cared about, and he hoped his work would one day reach and help more people. His voice, perspective, and dedication to shedding light on important issues will remain a meaningful part of his legacy.

He will be remembered for his creativity, his determination, and the love he had for his family.

Alphonso proudly served his country as a brave Army Ranger, demonstrating courage, discipline, and a deep commitment to protecting others.

Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on through his children, grandchildren, and the impact of his words.
