We were very sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I was in Bill's high school class and played with him on our football, basketball and baseball teams. And especially in his back yard. He was always extremely friendly and helpful to me and my family. I am certain that he was a great husband and father. He will always be in my memories. Leo FitzGerald

Our sincere condolences to Norma and family. Bill was a wonderful man, always so sharp, not only in appearance, but also in everything he did. A kind man, an intelligent man, who loved his wife and family, and was always looking to do the best for all. A true gentleman and scholar!
He will be missed by many! He provided a place for Ray to sleep back in the " dark ages" when we were all in the Bronx, and Ray had come for a visit. We were, and always will be, grateful.

So sad to see Bill is gone. We go back to kindergarten and alter boys at St. Stephen's. Always a good guy. My best to Norma and the family.

Bill was absolutely the best leader whom we all immensely enjoyed working with!!
He was always even tempered, handled difficult situations with ease & so well respected by his staff as well as every patient he came in contact with!! A great sense of humor & warmth that was so very genuine. He will certainly hold a special place in all our hearts forever!!

Our condolences to Bill´s loved ones. We were classmates in grammar and high school. Peggy was my "big sister" in nursing school. That Bill also pursued healthcare was a tribute to his mother. I remember him as an excellent student and athlete. His warmth and friendliness makes this a great loss for those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Bill was a wonderful leader in the clinic, kind, happy, and always with a joke or uplifting thought to share. He made the stresses of work more manageable and was always fair, honest and straight forward. I always appreciated knowing where I stood. He taught me much about leadership in adverse times and was a good friend as I assumed the mantel that he left behind. I will miss him. May his memory forever be a blessing to all who knew and loved him. Shalom.
