Mr. William Earl Lawson, age 89 of LaFollette passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. He was a Lifetime Member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, proudly served in the United States Army, and was a skilled painter serving customers throughout the area for many years. He is preceded in death by parents, Jesse C. and Nannie Lawson, brother, Ralph Lawson, and sister Joyce Lawson Carr.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Gene Carr of Knoxville; niece, Christy Carr Knope (Jason) of Marietta, GA, nephew, Aaron G. Carr (Jennifer) of Knoxville; and several other extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Cedar Hill Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Bryan Burge officiating. Interment will follow at Bakers Forge Cemetery with Military Honors to be conducted by the Honor Guard of Campbell County. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of William Earl Lawson.
