William Eggerton Obituary
Dr. Eggerton was born June 22, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois, to Bryan and Dorothy Lide Eggerton. He was a graduate of LSU Medical School, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and practiced Dermatology in Meridian, New Orleans and Slidell. He was a longtime member of the First Pentecostal Church in Slidell.
Dr. Eggerton was preceded in death by two brothers, Bryan L Eggerton Jr., and Robert Edward Eggerton; and a sister, Bettye Eggerton.
He is survived by a niece, Lori Pierpont; and two nephews, Lex Pierpont and Robert E. Eggerton Jr.
Funeral Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell LA 70460 on Monday, January 5, 2026, Rev. Donald Bryan officiating.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 10:00am.
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 2:00pm.
