William J. "Bill" Elkins

William J. "Bill" Elkins, 79, of Derry, NH, passed away Wednesday February 11, 2026 at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. He was born on April 25, 1946 in Holyoke, MA, a son of the late Anthea (Farley) and William Elkins Sr. William proudly served his country in the US Marines as well as the Army National Guard. He was a Real Estate appraiser for over 20 years, where he made many longtime friends. Bill met Sandra LeVallee in 1977, who later became his wife. He enjoyed many years of camping and time spent being in nature. Bill was an avid hunter and loved his dogs, especially his collies. He truly loved his country and was always ready for a good conversation about politics. He will be remembered for his Irish wit.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Sandra LeVallee of Derry; his daughter, Carey Greenslit and husband Mike of FL; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Megan; sister-in-law, Audrey Clark of CT; brother-in-law, Claude LeVallee of Montreal; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held for the family. Burial with Military Honors will be in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
