William Elwell Obituary

Bill was born December 31, 1952 in Sedalia, MO, the son of Dale Elmer Elwell and Jo Ann (Snow) Elwell. He graduated from La Monte High School in 1970 and was a long-time member of the La Monte Christian Church. On June 20, 1975, Bill married Kathryn Elaine Hughes at La Monte Christian Church. They would go on to have two children, Bradley and Keith.
Bill is survived by his wife Kathryn Elwell; his children Bradley Elwell (Jessie) and Keith Elwell of La Monte, MO; his granddaughters Keely Elwell and Ivy Elwell of La Monte, MO; and his brother James Elwell (Julie) of Overland Park, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday September 27, 2023 at Moore Funeral Home in La Monte, MO from 6:30-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at La Monte Christian Church with a graveside to follow at the La Monte Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pettis County Relay For Life or to a charity of your choice.
