I met Bill Eudailey at University Hospital in Tamarac, FL in 1975; I worked nights in the ER, and Bill recognized something in me and set the stage for my personal and professional growth. He mentored me throughout my time in Tamarac, was the driving force behind my Frist Humanitarian Award, and continued to collaborate with me while at Millipore and beyond. Bill attended my induction ceremony in Boston, when I assumed the presidency of the former National Intravenous Therapy Society (NITA), currently Infusion Nurses Society (INS). He was a mentor, a lifelong friend, and an inspiration to all he met.
