William G. “Bill” Faulk, 76, of Seale, AL, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, March 15, 2024, at Piedmont Rehabilitation Hospital in Phenix City, AL.
Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 pm EDT on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Pastor Phil Grimes officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City. The family will be available to receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EDT at the funeral home.
Mr. Faulk was born on June 4, 1947, in Pike County, AL, to the late L. H. Faulk and Mary Louise Dorrill Faulk. He was a dedicated second-generation businessman and the proud owner/operator of Faulk and Son, Inc., providing assistance to numerous friends and customers across the Chattahoochee Valley for over five decades. Known for his love of people, family, and friends, he served as the former President of the Phenix City Bass Club. Bill found joy in outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, traveling, and spending time at his cherished beach place in Panama City Beach, FL. His faith was important to him as he lived as a Christian.
He is preceded in death by his only sister Barbara “Janice” Faulk. Left to honor his memory are his devoted longtime companion Barbara Jeffers of Seale; cherished as his own children are Amanda Horton of Smiths Station, AL, Richard Tyson of Phenix City, AL, Jeff Jeffers and his wife Jessica of Enterprise AL, Matt Jeffers and his wife Tammy of Enterprise AL; and Dean Jeffers of Helen, GA. Mr. Bill also adored his grandchildren, Kinsley Lively; Mason Jeffers and his wife Regan; Lilly Jeffers; Harrison Jeffers; Noah Jeffers; and Mary Grace Jeffers alongside several other loving extended family members and many caring friends and customers.
William G. “Bill” Faulk will be deeply missed and remembered for his genuine kindness and unwavering love for those around him. May he rest in eternal peace.
