Bill Ferguson, age 58, of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away on November 1st, 2024 after a life filled with passion, hard work, and dedication to his family, friends, and community.
Born on February 19th, 1966, Bill was known for his strong work ethic and his love for the outdoors. From a young age, he developed a deep appreciation for fishing, often spending long hours on the water. His love for the sea led him to earn his boat captain's license, and he was proud to share his skills with others who shared his love for the sport.
Professionally, Bill was a talented mechanic, known for his expertise in fixing anything that came his way. He owned and operated Ferguson's Automotive, where his reputation for honesty and reliability drew a loyal customer base. He also owned and operated Coastal Pile Driving with the same dedication and precision that marked every aspect of his life.
Bill was a man of integrity, always ready to lend a hand to those in need, and he had a special knack for problem-solving. Whether repairing an engine, navigating a boat, or solving a tough challenge in his business, his skills and knowledge were unmatched.
Above all, Bill cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and uncle who loved spending time with loved ones, sharing stories, and teaching others the value of hard work and perseverance.
He leaves behind his wife Diane Roll Ferguson, Gulf Breeze; daughter Carmyn Ferguson, Gulf Breeze; sisters, Vicki Bass, Pensacola, Florida, Lisa Herrmann, Daphne Alabama, Laura Kerry, Gulf Breeze, Florida, and Pamela Frye, San Anselmo, California; brother, Michael Floyd, Beavercreek, Ohio; a multitude of nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Corlis Goodwin Ferguson Jr., and mother, Beulah Faye Ferguson.
A celebration of William Carmon Ferguson's life will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, Florida on Saturday, November 9th, 2024. Visitation at 1:00 pm and service at 2:00 pm.
Rest in peace, William Carmon Ferguson. Your legacy of hard work, love for family, and passion for the outdoors will live on in the hearts of all who knew you.
