I was so very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a classy gentleman. A real sweet person- well read, well traveled and a great singer. He loved life and serves as an example to all of us to be kind and to accept each other.

I went to Oliver Ames High school with Bill. He was a quiet and sweet person.
We reconnected last year when he made a trip to Chicago, where I live. I thoroughly enjoyed spending an afternoon with him in the city. I was happy I had the opportunity to see him.

Our high school class of 1977 had a reunion this weekend and Bill was remembered and missed. May he find peace and rest on the other side.

Heaven is a lot happier, while the world is sad mourning his loss. My sympathy to his family and friends. Especially his friends from Boston who he talked about with such affection. He will be missed by many.

I count on the fingers of one hand those I have met who never said a bad thing about anyone else. Bill was one. I shall miss his singing. No one was truer to lyricist and composer than Bill. To his family, thank you for sharing him with us. Toby and Trish

Bill will be terribly missed. It was always wonderful to see him -- he would always come up to me with a welcoming smile and a kiss. What a gentle, lovely man --with a smooth voice -- we all loved hearing him sing.

Bill thank you for your patience and kindness towards me. No matter how much work you had on your desk, you always took time to speak and laugh with me and tell my stories about Tony, your cat.

Billy, the word that keeps coming to mind: perfection.
You were the perfect son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, godfather and most special cousin. All our lives were genuinely blessed to have you in them. You brought sunshine wherever you went, and you did for others until your last day.
Thanks for all the fun times and laughter: Monty Python, Saturday Night Live, Trivial Pursuit, great food *especially dessert, musicals, NYC. I have to believe you are up there dancing with Sammy, Nicole, Auntie Priscilla, Mani and Papa... May we all take a page out of your book of life....xxoo Susan

Bill, so many many happy memories of our childhood spent on Allen Road. You were always so sweet, kind and generous. We had so much fun together with the rest of our Allen Rd. crew. I will miss your kind generous spirit and your wonderful sense of humor. Our sun dims with your loss, and Heaven is that much brighter. Rest well my friend. Debbie

Bill always had a smile no matter how bad he was feeling.
When he sang you could hear a pin drop, had a wonderful voice. I feel lucky to have been able to hear him sing and be called one of his friends.
Every time I look at your seat in Club Café I will see you.
Knowing you are at peace will help your family and friends.
RIP my friend.

Bill and I were in the High school chorus together, did musicals, attended shows, and he was my junior prom date in 1976. I was looking forward to catching up with him at our 40th reunion this coming Saturday. The man loved music, life, his friends, and especially, his family.

I am so sorry for all of the Fisher family. Bill has gone too soon. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Dance on Bill. Dance on!
