William Howard Fountain, 84, of Pensacola, Florida, peacefully departed this life on August 11, 2025. He was born on May 12, 1941, in Beatrice, Alabama, to the late Rayford and Ella Fountain.
William moved to Pensacola, Florida, where he met the love of his life, Mabel Ephraim. Together, they built a family and were blessed with two children. He was employed with Red Line Equipment Company, where he worked faithfully until its closure.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rayford and Ella Fountain; his son, King Soloman Fountain; his grandson, King Markale Fountain; and his siblings, Albert Fountain, Curtis Fountain, twins Hildra and Herbert Fountain, and Ella Jean Fountain, all of Pensacola, Florida. Willie James, Robert Earl, Brenda Lee, and Mary Bell, all of Beatrice, Alabama.
William leaves to cherish his memory his devoted daughter, Princess Fountain; beloved granddaughter, Makeyda Stallworth; and two great-grandchildren, JaNiyah Rawls and Damir Roberts. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Sapp; brothers, Shelly Fountain, Freddie Fountain, Harold (Angela) Fountain, and Arthur Lee Fountain, all of Pensacola, Florida. A host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will forever remember his kindness, dedications, and love.
William will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the life he lived and the love he shared.
