William Bobbie "Bob" Fox, 87, of Nebo, N.C., passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025.
Born in Burke County, N.C., on April 22, 1938, he was the son of the late Ransom E. Fox and Eva Pearl Carswell Fox.
Bob was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Trinity Hill Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, William Fox and wife, Helena Oscarius Fox, of Stockholm, Sweden; daughter, Dianna Clark and husband, Clarence, of Lake James; and grandchildren, William Carpenter and Alexander Fox.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Winnie Browning Fox; brother, Jim Fox; and sisters, Doris "Nook" Fox and Francis Bumgarner.
No services are planned for Mr. Fox.
