William David "Will" Franklin Kitchell

William David Franklin Kitchell, 16, was born on the morning of Tuesday August 29, 2006, in Duncan Oklahoma to Andy and Holli Kitchell.
He went home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2023; side by side with his two great friends he loved dearly.
Will was the funniest, most kind, and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He's survived by his mother, Holli; his father, Andy; his big sister, Emma and brother-in-law, Elijah; two nephews, Beckham andJameson; his big sister, Kaytlin; his big brother, Eli; his maternal grandparents, Reverend David & Donna Perdue; & his paternal grandparents, Kathy Kitchell & James Woods ; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Will would have been a Junior at Greeley West High School this fall. He wasn't too sure about what he wanted to go on to study after graduation, but since he was a little boy he was set on playing basketball wherever he went and especially with his team mates at Greeley West. Will spent his time playing the game he loved, taking last minute runs to raising canes with his friends, really doing anything with his friends, & spending time with his family.
Will was funny, kind, and selfless, but also little bit bougie. He loved shoes & was very particular about his clothes & cologne. He always, always had to have a fresh haircut done by one of his friends. He loved his family fiercely and was at every family gathering always having a friend in tow. It was important to him that his family know his chosen family.
Will was a social butterfly, always on the go. He touched the hearts of everyone he came across. He had the most infectious laugh, brightest smile; the kind that could make a whole room glow. Will had a heart of gold and truly cared about everyone.
Will was the best of us, whose impact will be forever felt by his family and friends. His passing has left an unfillable gap in the hearts of all his loved ones.
A Celebration of the beautiful life he lived will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3800 W 20th St, Greeley, CO 80634, Wednesday, July 26th, 11:00AM.
