I met him in fall of 2020 as a student and I adored him. He was such a sweet person and I looked forward to seeing him each day. I'm so sad to hear of his passing. I'm thinking of you all that I had met through his treatments. He was such a kind, sweet person. I don't doubt that he impacted my career. He is the type of person who makes you remember why you chose the profession.

Our Trivia Team misses you, Bill. We could always rely on you for those classic cars, sports, and 60's music question. Loved the little bit of time we spent together... always, Lynn Ellershaw Broverman

Bill was a wonderful man and colleague. I worked with him indirectly at ABB for years. Bill was kind, personable, helpful, and someone you could count on. Have you ever seen a better smile? It is a huge loss. Rest in peace, one-of-a-kind Bill.

I had the distinct pleasure of working for and with Bill at ABB. This amazing man was not only my boss for a few years but a close friend, mentor and father figure in life and career. I truly cherish the time we spent together at the office, on the road traveling, eating good food, telling stories and talking about how much we loved and bragged about our respective families. Bill genuinely cared about people. He provided an immense amount of personal and emotional support for my family during a number of unsuccessful attempts at growing our family. I truly feel as if he was a surrogate grandfather for my daughter Rylan. Seeing the two of them together at times just made my heart overflow with joy. I can only imagine him with his own children and grandchildren respectively. When we were blessed with a son, Bill was the first non-immediate family member who was seeking the opportunity to love on this new addition. I really miss Bill's friendship. I know he is happy to be back with Cheryl sharing their light as angels guiding us all through each passing day.

I have had the opportunity to work with both Cheryl and Bill. I got to know two very dedicated and professional colleagues. They are now together again!
Bill had many challenging assignments in ABB, many of them critical to the company. His thoroughness and willingness to do what it takes added a lot of value to ABB. He was a master of building a network of key individuals, in various parts of the company, which would allow him to frequently be one step ahead and always able to present a balanced analysis.
We had many lunches together where we compared notes on ongoing matters. We also talked family and Bill was very supportive when I faced adversity. Bills children and their families meant the world to him, he was very proud of you. Family first! The Lemoncello Corvette also made the list.
RIP my friend
