William Freal Obituary

Visit the Countryside Funeral Home - Anthony website to view the full obituary.

William "Bill" Freal, 82, went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 21, 1943, in Miami, Florida to Joseph James Freal I and Mary Catherine Freal, Bill lived a full and faithful life. Over the years, he called Miami, Ocala, Orange Springs, and North Carolina home.

Bill devoted his life to sharing the Gospel as a Southern Baptist pastor at Agape Baptist and Orange Springs Baptist Church, leaving behind a legacy of faith that touched countless lives. Outside the pulpit, he found joy in the simple things - casting a fishing line, working with his hands in woodworking, and even chasing down snakes, much to the amusement of those who loved him. Above all, Bill treasured his family.

He was a devoted husband to Patricia "Pat" Freal for 62 years; a loving father to Carrie Daffron (husband, Derek) and Patrick Freal (wife, Sammi LeClair); and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He is also survived by his sister, Ann Morrisseau. Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Freal. Those who knew Bill will remember his unwavering faith, his kind spirit, his humor, and the way he made everyone feel like family.

A graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Park on Monday September 29th at 10 AM. Arrangments have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home.
