William Fronk Obituary

Fronk, William Andrew
REXFORD - Bill Fronk, age 71, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2023, in his Rexford home.
He was born on May 4, 1952, in Clifton Park to Floyd and Nora Fronk. He is survived by Margaret Fronk and their two sons, Dan (Tricia) Fronk and Jason (Sarah Hughes) Fronk. He is also survived by his mother, Nora (née Butler) Fronk; his sister, Linda Mosler (née Fronk); and his nephew, Thomas William Mosler. Andy, the family golden retriever, was a beloved companion of Bill's.
Bill was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School. He obtained the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 45. While serving in the United States Navy in Puerto Rico, Bill volunteered as a scout master. He had many stories about the weather, cuisines he tried, and his routine of bouncing a quarter off of a freshly made bed. He told these stories with great pride in his service. Later in life, he was a North Pole ambassador, bringing joy to children as Santa Claus.
Bill worked as a mechanic and electrician until his retirement. He'd readily offer to help with a house or car project. He made many improvements to his Rexford home, overlooking the river.
From chicken puppets to cheesy monkey jokes, Bill brought joy and laughter to family gatherings. He loved to learn new things from YouTube videos and gladly volunteered to taste-test new recipes. He will be forever remembered and cherished.
At the request of his family, there will be a private service at a later date to honor Bill's memory.

I am so sad to hear about Bill. So many ways he touched my life...Godfather to my daughter, Best man at my wedding...worked with my husband. Most important, friend. Lost touch, but always in my heart. The kindest person I ever knew. Deepest condolences to Maggie and the Fronk family. Sending love

Maggie, Mrs. Fronk and Family, my sincere condolences for your loss of Bill. My heart is broken. Bill and I go all the way back to kindergarten. We´d been through a few adventures together, with Music in between. Some serious, some humorous. Although we hadn´t seen each other in a long while, he´s been in my thoughts. He was sure to bring a smile across anyone´s face who knew him. My memories are many and cherished. Bill, my Friend, may you Rest In Peace until we meet again. Love , your Buddy, Mickey.
