William (Bill) M. Gallagher, 68, a resident of Carthage, MS, passed away at his home on Fri. July 15, 2022. Visitation will be held on Wed. July 20, 2022 from 1pm-1:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Memorial Services are 2pm on Wed. July 20, 2022 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS.
Bill was born in Oak Ridge, TN on May 2, 1954 to the late William Frank Gallagher and Sandra Underwood Jones. Bill was a retired law enforcement officer serving Rankin County, Mississippi over 40 years. He was a loyal and dedicated father and friend to all who knew him. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and gathering with family and friends.
He is survived by his five daughters, Tricia Meyers (Daniel), Payton Williams, Amy Lara (Gilberto), April Shoemaker and Lisa Crawford; three brothers, Billy Gallagher, Jay Jones and Kevin Jones; step father, Richard Jones; eight grandchildren, David McVeay, Isaiah Lara, Issaac Lara, Noah Lara, Britney Shoemaker, Zac Shoemaker, Dylan Stingley, Bryant Stingley; one great grandchild, Zayzlee Rae Stingley and his former wife, Becky Gallagher.
