William Gammon Obituary
Bill previously worked for the Marshfield Water Department, Carpenter's Union and finally retiring from the Town of Rockland as a custodian. He loved his Rockland sports. He was always there cheering the local athletes.
A great father, grandfather and great great "Grampy Big Beard." You will always be missed and loved until we meet again. Look down on us. Love always and forever.
Visitation will be held at Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water St., Rockland on Thursday, September 19th from 4pm-7pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 20th at 10am in Holy Family Cemetery, 92 Centre Ave, Rockland.

A great man to have had in my neighborhood. Always nice to see and chat with or give a friendly wave when i would ride by his house. A genuine good man he was. God bless

Mr. Bill had to be the friendliest person I´ve ever met. He was the kindest soul and when I´d chat with him while walking my dog he was always so welcoming. The world is truly sadder without him.

Boating, fishing, 4th of July beach parties on Duxbury beach. Had a lot of good times. Very good friend that was always looking to help. Rest in peace Bill !

One of the kindest and real people you could know. He cheered for us from elementary school in the halls through the fields of Rockland in RHS. Billy is and always will be a Bulldog Legend!

Rest easy, Billy the last 15 years it´s been a blast to know the person you were. You were going to be missed. I´ll miss you forever my ZZ Top look-alike. To your son and family. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Just know to us Billy made us smile on a daily basis God bless.

Bill was a special person. If you were from Rockland there's a good chance you knew him & how kind he was. He worked in the school system wih my Mom I have very good memories of how nice he was to her & everyone he crossed paths with as well. Thoughts and prayers
