Born in Dayton, Ohio, he spent most of his life in Columbus. Member of United Baptist Church of Frankfort, Ohio.
He loved to work on cars, and watch Westerns (especially John Wayne). Above all, he was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Preceded in death by parents William Dee and Fannie Garlinger, daughter Tammy Molter, sisters Shirley Fultz and Evelyn Tipton, brother Jerry Garlinger, step-daughter Melinda Heasley, step-son Robert Huffer; great-grandson Xavier, great-granddaughter Jordan, and best friend, Paul Arthurs..
Survived by wife, Kathy; daughters, Ginger (Leo) Kelley, Tracey (Marvin) Harris, and Rhonda Nichols; grandchildren, William, Lily, and Boogie and several others; several great-grandchildren;; sister, Joanna (Jeff) Davis; brother, James Garlinger; numerous nieces and nephews; special cousin, Leota Stout; special friend, Leo Kelley; and many other devoted pals.
Visitation 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 8 at COOK & SON - PALLAY Funeral Home 1631 Parsons Ave., where the funeral service will be held at 4:45 p.m. with Pastor Paul Winks officiating.
