William "Bill" George

William "Bill" George 85, of Hot Springs, died October 13, 2013 in Hospice after a brave battle with Alzheimer Disease. The family wishes to thank Alan Love and his staff at Alternative Care for the compassion and comfort they showed Bill in his final days. Bill was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Millie George. She passed away two and a half months ago. Born in Greensburg, PA on September 10, 1928, Bill was the son of Janet and Walter George. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and was a tool and dye maker by trade. In Hot Springs he worked for Alliance Rubber and Featherlite and for 15 years he and Millie owned and operated Paradise Point Resort on Lake Hamilton. He is survived by two sons and four step-children, they include William A. George-Phoenix, AZ, Richard George-San Diego, CA, Bud Kenny-Hot Springs, Martin Kenny-Carthage, NC, Max Kenny-Hot Springs, Maralyn Radice-Loveland, CO. Bill also leaves behind many loving grand and great-grandchildren.
