William Edwin Gibler Jr age 57, passed away peacefully in his home in Ames, Iowa on February 5, 2025.
Bill was born on March 4, 1967, in Petersburg, VA to Barb and Bill Gibler.
He is survived by his daughter Kari Gibler, Des Moines; his sisters Pam and Al Harrison, Byron, MI, Patty Gibler, Penny Valente, Priscilla Marsh, and his brother Kevin Gibler, all in Ames. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Barb Gibler of Moberly, MO.
Bill graduated with honors from Toledo High School and was very intelligent and skilled with his hands. As many do, he struggled to find his way in this world. He loved animals and took in many strays and was a kind person who loved to laugh and make jokes. He showed his love and compassion as he cared for his mother as she was dying from terminal cancer in her home and was very much appreciated for this by all of his siblings. His daughter Kari Jean Gibler was his pride and joy.
