William Seitzinger Gilbert, age 69, of Levittown, PA passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Chandler Hall Hospice Pavilion. William was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Carol (Goss) and William S. Gilbert. Bill was a long time resident of Langhorne, PA.
Bill's favorite pastime was spending time with friends and family, setting off fireworks on the 4th, driving hot rods, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, and enjoying every last joy that life had to offer. Bill was about having fun, surrounded by friends and family.
Bill was a long time employee of United States Steel Fairless Works before closing their doors. Following US Steel, Bill was employed as a Lead and Asbestos Project Manager for the Fox Family Company, Controlled Environmental Systems. Bill had many skills, he could fix anything and everything.
Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Kelly). Loving father of Kelly (Benjamin) Miller and Emma Gilbert. He is survived by his sisters, Lynn Gardner of Olney, MD, and Nancy Reedman of Langhorne, PA. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan, of Upper Marlboro, MD. He is also survived by many loving brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 4-6 PM followed by a memorial service at 6pm at the Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home, 1770 Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA 19020.
