William “Craig” Glick, or as some called him, Guido and Pops, age 70, of Waynesville, OH, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025. Craig was born on March 3, 1955, in Cincinnati, OH to Marvin M. Glick and Jean Glick-Williams. His joyful and adventurous childhood, OR some might say “survival of living with five sisters,” was shared with Paula, Leslie, Jan, Alison, and Tracy. After graduating from North College Hill High School in 1973, he started working at Liberals, which later became known as IGA.
The IGA he worked at also ended being where he met his bride to be, Deborah Lynn Glick. Deb eventually gave her hand to Craig and they were joined in marriage on September 20, 1980. During their 42 years of matrimony, they were blessed with two wonderful children, Justin and Carmen. They also have one grandchild, Noah, whom they would normally call, "Newt."
During their time together they eventually opened their own bartending school in Dayton, OH, and aptly named it Dayton Bartending School. Once the Dayton location took off, they opened a second location in Cincinnati, OH, which they owned and operated for approximately 17 years.
Craig was just as much of a casino goer as Debbie and he loved to watch her play and simply enjoy her company. Always trying to add some kind of comedy to every situation, he would often tell her “time to walk away,” even though he knew exactly what she would say, “I can’t right now, I’m HOTT!”
Craig will be joining Debbie in eternal life, as well as his loving parents Marvin and Jean, and his sisters Paula and Tracy. He is survived by his Son Justin Glick (Amy), Daughter Carmen Mazzi (Steven), grandson Noah, and sisters Leslie Parsons (Bill), Jan Amshoff and Alison (Jim Strick) Glick, as well as many brother and sister in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-4:00pm, on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Cincinnati Bartending School, 4141 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati, OH, 45223.
