William Gorzynski Obituary
SLINGERLANDS -
William Edward Gorzynski, 80, entered Eternal Life Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, he was the son of Louis Gorzynski Sr. and Frances Biezunski Gorzynski.
William was a 1963 graduate of Cardinal McCloskey High School. He was a longtime member of the Plumber and Steamfitters Union and worked many years at Honeywell Inc., Albany, N.Y.
He was the husband of the late V. Fair Gorzynski; father of Jill Elliott (John); proud grandfather of Liza Elliott, Grace Elliott, and Gretchen Elliott; brother of the late Barbara O'Brien and Louis Gorzynski Jr.; brother-in-law of Joyce Gorzynski; beloved uncle of John Gorzynski, Michelle Quentin, John O'Brien, Gail Dillion (Dan) and Karen O'Brien.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with William's family Sunday, May 18, 2025, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen St., Albany, N.Y. 12206. His funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Please enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot entrance only.
The Rite of Committal will be held at a later date at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, N.Y. To leave a message for the family, please visit www.McveighFuneralHome.com

very sorry for the loss of a great neighbor and friend for over 60 years. twiller street was a great place to raise a family back in those days . I have many memories of playing and watching others play ball. we all had great times and friends that lasted all our lives. not many of us are left and billy was certainly one of those guys. RIP my friend
