I was so saddened to see about the passing of Willie, a wonderful man I have memories of from early childhood. He helped build my parent's house, and even over 30 years later, he still came around for big and small jobs. As I grew and became a homeowner myself, I found a lot of comfort in being able to call up an old family friend who I could trust to do good work and provide excellent company at the same time. When my mom passed away 2 years ago it was followed not a month later by the untimely death of our family dog - my father, still grieving, was beside himself and unable to bury our dog with the ground frozen. Not only did Willie help dig the hole, but he buried our dog on his property making sure my dad knew he could visit any time. It was such a small act of kindness at a truly difficult time but I've thought of it many times over the last 2 years. He was truly a wonderful human being and the world is at a great loss with him gone. I want to send my deepest sympathies to his beautiful family for such a significant loss - I hope you are able to find solace in the legacy he left behind. I feel truly honored to have him as just a small part of my world, and I am so genuinely sorry for your loss.

All I have to do is look around my house. Willie´s handwork is everywhere - From my kitchen, my bathroom, my bedroom, my laundry/craft room, my sewing room upstairs to 3 handrails he put up for us because we are aging and having some difficulty going up and down stairs...
I will miss his smile, his hugs, and his attention to detail. He was very humble and never gave himself enough credit. There will never be another like him. We miss you, Willie.
