William Grantham Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by A Natural State Funeral Service & Crematory on Jan. 5, 2026.
William "Lloyd" Grantham, 63, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born and raised in Pine Bluff on July 2, 1962, Lloyd lived a rich, grounded life defined by unwavering devotion to those he held dear, a profound connection to the natural world, and an enduring appreciation for the quiet, meaningful moments that make life truly worthwhile.
Preceded in death by his parents, William Johnston Grantham Jr. and Sally Lou Hollister Grantham; his paternal grandparents, William Johnston Grantham Sr. and Carrie Meadows Grantham; and his maternal grandparents, William Emery Hollister and Mary Magdalene Averett Hollister, Lloyd carried forward a legacy of family strength and Southern roots with quiet pride.
Lloyd found his greatest joy in the simple, authentic pleasures of life. An avid outdoorsman, he relished every opportunity to hunt, fish, cruise the backroads, and tend his garden with care. He took immense pride in his bountiful harvests, proudly canning the fruits of his labor to share with loved ones. A masterful cook and griller, Lloyd had a special gift for bringing people together-preparing hearty meals, gathering everyone around the table, and filling the air with stories, laughter, and the warmth of his generous spirit. These gatherings were never just about food; they were about connection, and Lloyd excelled at making every person feel seen, valued, and cherished.
Above all, Lloyd was a deeply loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lisa Hudson Grantham, who stood by him with steadfast love; his sisters, Sue Darlene Fortenberry of Stuttgart and Delores Ann Haynes (Chester) of Star City; his sons, Travis Ryan Grantham of White Hall, Jeremy Durham of Lafayette, Louisiana, and stepson Jon Paul King (Kathryn) of Benton; his daughters, Jennifer Nicole Grantham of Bearden, Kayla Diane Grantham (Jeff) of Camden, stepdaughters Amber Luker of Malvern and Ashley Smith (Jason) of Redfield; and his 17 cherished grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who were drawn to his kind heart and steady presence.
Lloyd's legacy is one of profound love, hard-earned wisdom, and the quiet pride of a man who lived life on his own honest terms-always putting family first, always finding beauty in the everyday, and always leaving those around him better for having known him. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in every family story told, every meal shared, and every moment spent in the outdoors he loved so well.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memories, stories, or acts of kindness shared in Lloyd's honor.
With deepest gratitude for the life he lived and the love he gave.
