Mr. William Gray, Sr. 76, of Springfield, Arkansas transitioned on Sunday, February 1, 2026, William Edward "Bill" Gray Sr. was born March 18, 1949, in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Ella Haines and George Gray Sr. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined New Generation Church in Conway, Arkansas.

William graduated from Eastside High School in 1967 and was drafted in the Army in 1970. After his service in the Army, he attended trade school in Morrilton, Arkansas. He worked many years at Morrilton Plastics and Morrilton High School.

William enjoyed spending time with family, farming, traveling, and attending the local Morrilton Devil Dogs' basketball games.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Dorothy Gray and his brother, George Gray Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories: son, William Gray, Jr. of Morrilton, daughter Dana Gray of Morrilton, five grandchildren Alana McDaniel, Zyon Ferguson, Amari Gray, Zakiyah Ferguson, and Jamarion Jones, and four great grandchildren; brother, Bruce (Lola) Gray of Kansas City, Kansas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
