Graveside services for Mark Griffith will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Lone Star Cemetery in Collins, MS with the Reverend Ken Hickman officiating. Mr. Griffith, age 63, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Forrest General Hospital. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
Mark will be carried to is final rest by those serving as pallbearers; they include Jeff Polk, Scotty Griffith, Richard Griffith, Jesse Broome, Tim Davis, and Danny Mullins.
William Mark Griffith was born on June 26, 1961, in Covington County, Mississippi to William Preston and Dixie Fay Roberts Griffith. His interests included hunting and fishing. In addition, his family relates that he enjoyed going to local festivals such as the Bay Fest, Okatoma Fest and the Hub Fest. Mark also had a passion for classic cars and looked forward to the annual Cruising on the Coast event. Mr. Griffith was a member of Lone Star Methodist Church.
Mark is preceded in death by his father, Preston Griffith and his grandson, Aidan Wyatt Griffith.
He is survived by his wife, Phillis B. Griffith; sons, Richard Adam Griffith, Scotty Lynn Griffith; mother, Dixie Griffith; sister, Barbara Erwin, all of Collins and a granddaughter, Alannah Marie Self of Gulfport.
